HONDO 1982 Vintage H-830 Deluxe P-Bass - Metallic Jade Green w/Matching Headstock

This 1982-1984 Vintage Hondo H830 Deluxe Precision style 4-String bass guitar is Used but in Good Condition; no major dings, cracks or dents, just normal finish nicks and surface wear from age/use (scratches/scuffs). The pickguard has some indentations from the thumbrest that was originally there (it was removed) and the there was some chipping on the top layer of the pickguard by the output jack that has been touched up. The nut has been replaced and as newer Switchcraft output jack was installed. The back of the neck is smooth, the fingerboard was cleaned, the frets are in excellent condition (hardly any wear) and the bass was just setup with new flatwound 45-105 strings with low action (truss rod and saddle screws all turn smoothly). No case is included but the bass will be carefully packed and fully insured.

Hondo was created in 1972 through a joint-venture between Samick and Texas-based IMC (International Music Corporation). The new company introduced modern American and Japanese production methods to the Korean market. The H-830 Deluxe Series was a homage to the venerable Fender Precision Bass - it features a chunky maple neck, Nato (Eastern Mahogany) body, X-15 Split-Coil P-pickup (modeled after the Dimarzio K-10 pickup).
