60s Royal Artist hollow body bass. Neck is straight and frets are fine. Action is medium low. There is a bit of fret rattle as you might expect from a 60s Japanese guitar but I don’t hear it coming through the amp. Electronics work fine. Looks like it has a new switch and new jack. Finish has lots of cracks in it as I’ve tried to show on the photos. On the back quite a bit of the clearcoat has chipped off. Scratches etc. throughout. I believe the clear upper thumb rest to have been added to this. All in all a pretty cool bass. If you Google Stevie Ray Vaughan’s first guitar or first band you will see pictures of him with the guitar version of this. No case but will be packed well to ensure a safe delivery.
