The new G-60 is a new addition to the Gallagher family of guitars. Only five G-60 guitars were built in the early days of Gallagher before it was discontinued. We have brought it back with a new design with a natural, earthy appearance with the wood binding and rosette.
The G-60 was added to provide another voice with the combination of a cedar top with a rosewood dreadnought. Red Cedar has emerged as an interesting top tone wood for players looking for that specific sound which is often described as a warmer, fuller, mellower sound. Cedar often sounds more mature "out of the box." Cedar top guitars are often desired by finger-style guitar players. We are very pleased with the clear bass and mid-range along with the crisp, clear highs this guitar produces.
