Dime's Actual Guitar Mic's --- Shure SM58 Reg. (Non Beta)

These mic's are the same one I used to mic up Dimebag's guitar speakers everynight for the last 3 years of the Pantera tours.

I was the FOH Soundman for the ATCO/Elektra Recording Artist  “Pantera” from the beginning in 1990 till the night Dime was killed in 2004. (DamagePlan)

I will be selling a lot of other stuff related to Dime on my listings. Memorabilia gear that was REALLY Dime’s.

Listing will include Guitar Mic’s (6 of them)  Wireless pak’s, Rack Power supply’s, Vocal Mics… etc.

 I will also be selling some of of Phil’s (singer) smashed up SM58 Beta’s.

 

Not a lot of people know that we used Shure SM58's on the guitar rig. (regular... not Beta's)

At that time, if you used a Shure mic on a guitar rig it was almost always a SM57 (inst. mic)

We ALWAYS used the reg 58's on his guitar, in the studio and live.

Back then the amps were kind of weak on the low end and the 58's which were actually for vocal mic's had that full range in the low end dept. so they worked out great.

 The 58’s gave Dime that xtra "hump" which was the main part of his guitar sound.

These still work and sound great but the price is high because of who owned them. (Memorabilia)
