Here is ONE used Gibson 498T BRIDGE Humbucker Pickup BLACK. Solder Connect. 2 Conductor Wiring. From 1998.
The top side of the pickup has a couple of visible not to light / not to deep short scratches, scuffs, & small nicks in the plastic, a couple of light & very light vertical hair-line scratches, some extremely light swirly hair-line surface scratches, and a few tiny light nicks. I would say that pictures # 2 and # 3 best show these imperfections. More details are in the description below. 15.4k (hotter than full strength).
Comes with two mounting screws & two springs (two extra springs) . Also comes with a used (generally clean) black bridge pup mounting ring.

From 1998. It came off of a used 1998 Gibson LP Studio Double Cut Gloss Green (guitar NOT included). It was in the bridge position of this guitar.
- Alnico V magnet. HOT
- 2 Conductor Wiring. It has the silver braided wire.
Fully functionally - this pick up is hotter than full strength (15.4k). Full strength is considered to be 13.98k. The multi meter reading was taken in April 8, 2020.

Below are details about the 498T pickup, screws + springs, and mounting ring for sale in this listing.
- Markings: the back side has Gibson USA imprinted in the metal
- Ohms: 15.4k (a little hotter than full strength)
- Wiring: 2 Conductor
- Lead Type: SOLDER Connect
- Lead Length: The silver braided wire is about 10 and 3/4 inches long. The length of the wire up to the end of the black part is 11 and 3/4 inches. The entire wire length (braided silver wire + the black part to the tip of the bare wire is about 12 inches long.

This pickup was used and it is several year old - therefore it has imperfections.
I would say that pictures # 2 and # 3 best show these imperfections.
- The top side of the pickup has a couple of visible not to light / not to deep short scratches & small nicks in the plastic, and a couple of light & very light vertical hair-line scratches, some extremely light swirly hair-line surface scratches, and a few tiny light nicks.
- Top edge of UPPER BOBBIN: The left side has a not too light / not too deep short scalloped graze / scuff in the plastic (at the low E area). There is a visible nick on the top edge in between the B and G area (closer to the B side). And there area few tiny nicks here & there.
- Some of all of these imperfections can be seen better in person.
UNDER SIDE of pickup: The under side has some cloudiness, some scratches, a couple of tiny & very small nicks, and a couple of very tiny rust spots.
The pole screws are fine / clean. The magnet poles: The High E and Low ones have light / minor discoloration (nothing too serious or that noticeable). The other 4 are very clean.
The mounting screws are fine (very clean) with very minor discoloration the lower threaded areas. The screws heads are PHILLIPS and use a phillips screw driver. Please let me know if you prefer screws that have slotted heads (for a flat screw driver).
The springs are fine - actually they are new (and I am including extra pair of used springs).
As mentioned above - the entire length of the wire is 12 inches long. The SILVER BRAIDED Covering is on most of the wire. The wire is generally fine. A couple of light bends and a few light creases (nothing serious) and the edge of the silver braided covering (near the black part of the wire) has a little solder on it.
Lightly used black bridge pickup MOUNTING RING (The 4 screws to mount the ring to the body are NOT included - but they are available upon request - no additional cost. Please message me if you need them).
This mounting ring has a slight curve (so it is for a carved top body). Please let me know if you prefer a mounting ring for a flat top body [such as an SG, a LP Special, a LP Junior - (NO guitars included)]. Also please let me know if you prefer a creme pup mounting ring instead of the black.
- TOP AREA of mounting ring: The top mid right area has a very short light dash scratch. The left and right ares have shiny outlines as well as some dullness and light hair-line scratches.
- TOP EDGES of mounting ring: Mostly very clean. The center area of the top edge has a few tiny nicks.
- SIDES of mounting ring: The left side has a couple of long light hair-line surface scratches and some cloudiness. The top and bottom sides have a few very small nicks and some cloudiness. The right side is clean.
