About This Listing

I am selling a 1983-84 Squier 70s Reissue SQ Series MIJ Stratocaster.  This guitar is in very good condition. There is a scratch on the front of the guitar and some dings on the headstock. I upgraded the original pickups to Tim Shaw V-Mod pickups. They sound amazing! I will send the original pickups with the guitar as well as the original volume pot. I had it replaced with a CTS volume pot. I also had the tone knob hooked up to the bridge pickup.

I am asking $799 CAN including shipping and it will take about 6-10 business days to reach you. There will be a tracking number. If you are from the USA there will be an extra $120 CAN to help cover shipping.

These guitars have a reputation that is well-known and respected. They were made by the Fujigen guitar company, under contract with Fender and raised the eyebrows of Fender at the time, when the quality was as good, or even better, than the Fender instruments being produced at the time.
The JV and SQ series are at the top of the list. The build quality is insane on these guitars!

The SQ serial numbers identify that the guitars were made between 1983-1984. The SQ series Stratocasters were a 70's style reissue with the large headstock, three-bolt neck plate, bullet truss rod, etc.
