The Saturnworks true bypass looper + buffer provides both the switching options of a true bypass looper and the tone-saving qualities of a buffer in one space and cost saving rectangle. 

A true bypass looper allows you to make any pedal true bypass -- no more vintage pedals with questionable bypass wrecking your tone.

A true bypass looper can also bring multiple pedals in and out of your signal path at the same time. Let's say you have a distortion and phase that you love to bring in together. Rather than doing a speedy tap dance, you can put both in the loop of a true bypass looper and bring them in and out of your sound with a single click. 

You can also set up a true bypass looper as an A/B pedal or use it as latching kill switch or tuner out. 

A buffer circuit helps to maintain your signal integrity over long cable runs. Passive signals are weak (high impedance) and as you subject your signal to long (20' +) cable runs, you can start to lose your high end. A buffer converts your signal to a stronger, but not louder low impedance signal. So your tone stays clear and sparkly. 

The buffer looper's buffer circuit is wired on the output rather than the loop's send, just in case you're using a pedal in the loop that doesn't play well with a buffered signal (certain types of fuzz pedals). The buffer looper also features a toggle switch to turn off the buffer, just in case you don't want or need it.
