A gorgeous and functional vintage example from the house of Del Vecchio, handmade at the shop in San Paulo Brazil. Made famous by Chet Atkins. The guitar is in very good condition. The tailpiece is a replacement, the bridge saddle is a recent Tusq compensated bridge, strung with silk and steel. There is a very slight buzz at the low E string, first and second positions. But otherwise low action and playable all the way up the board. The neck joint is tight and the neck is dead flat. Very nice decorative cutaway on the headstock. The cone is original and in excellent shape. The body has beautiful straight grained bookmatched Brazilian Rosewood lamination with a few slight scratches to the finish, with the exception of two large round finish scratches at the bottom near the tailpiece. Missing the name plate on the headstock. This is a very fun guitar to pick, clear tone with nice projection. You won’t want to put it down. And they’re no longer made. A fun way to pass the days of solitude. Comes with a newer Gator hard case, with a small patched imperfection at the top. I’ll post a video soon.
