The LS stands for long scale. So.... the guitar hangs comfortably around the neck but the body has been “ergonomically" sculpted to be played seated, with the body contour resting on the LEFT leg. The longer scale along with a 1 3/4" nut width is great for those with large hands or who don't like too much crowding in the first few frets. The 26 1/2” scale is dual purpose. It allows for detuning and dropped tunings easily but also can be capoed at the first fret to “play” like a 25” scale neck if you didn’t like the fret spacing of the longer scale. Strung with 10’s, it’s a pleasure to play in standard tuning, but really shines in Open-B which is where I keep it.The body is mostly Cherry with a center section of Bubinga and Walnut. The neck is Cherry with a fretboard made from Yellowheart ,Walnut, and Bubinga. A versatile EMG 81 pickup with volume and tone controls completes the electronics. Gotoh tuners. Ships with gigbag. Thanks for looking.
