The BAC Los Angeles Model Artist Series trombone is one of B.A.C.'s most popular instruments. From covering lead trombone, a jazz seat, or playing amidst a section, you can feel confident your needs are being met with this horn. The sound of the this instrument, conceptualized from the iconic LA recording scene of the 1950's thru 1990's, delivers a secure and solid core with captivating tone. The feel of this trombone mimics perfectly that which musicians have grown to expect from vintage instruments designed during that time period.

This trombone's sound balances a blend of subtle tonal colors to a rich shimmer that is familiar to that of hand-crafted instruments built the 1940's, while also allowing for the power and efficiency needed by today’s musicians. The LA Model comfortably suits live performance situations, recording sessions, and commercial situations exquisitely. The L.A. The LA Model is decorated with a stunning Gold Brass Satin Finished 8" Reso-Tempered hand engraved bell. It is accompanied by a seamless yellow brass main tuning slide assembly. The combination provides a musician a feel of security and consistency across a wide dynamic ranges, while transmitting a rich focused sound to the audience. It has a straight .500" bore nickel silver handslide, which provides superb efficiency and flexibility. The slide features B.A.C. Musical Instruments 'Escape Velocity Treatment’ and feels incredibly smooth. This instrument is a fantastic budget conscious option that suits all types of professional trombone players.

It comes with a beautiful burgundy Deluxe hard-shelled case, with backpack straps, and a standard small shank 12C sized mouthpiece.
