I'm pretty sad that I'll probably have someone buy this guitar - unfortunately, I've lost my job because of COVID-19 and will have to sell this to make ends meet for the next several months.
This is a gem. Yes, it has some wear and tear (biggest flaw is that it's missing the actual metal Rickenbacker logo on the headstock), but it's 61 years old and to be expected, and no wear and tear affects its playability. It still has all the original parts (hence the bit of rust around the bridge and tuning heads), but I've never had a problem with it and it plays and sounds incredible. This is the Robin Zander/Fred 'Sonic' Smith/Johnny Ramone guitar - if you're looking for a guitar with nice jangly highs that can still rip a proper power chord, this is the one. You probably knew that already.
