Hofner 182 shortscale bass 1974 Sunburst

A beautiful 182 Höfner Shortscale Bass from 1974 in a beautiful sunburst finish. Pressing thick sound from the excellent blade pickups, but at the same time also very dynamic and brilliant - depending on which pickup you choose. I love these pickups.

The bass is from 1974! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! However, it looks very good for its age! The paint shines incredibly beautiful and is very well preserved. It was also very difficult to photograph it due to the gloss - what you see there on the spots etc. are dust lint. Here and there the bass has chips and scratches, should be clearly visible on the pictures. The pickguard is not broken and has a wonderful shine. The two 512 blade pickups work, as well as each switch and potentiometer. With 2.72 kg, this 182 is one of the lighter basses in this series

The bass has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. The tuners were cleaned and re-lubricated. Total electrics treated. The neck set for a very good low string action. The neck is straight and needs nearly no trussrod adjustment – here was very good wood used! Fingerboard cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The frets are in very good condition, still have a lot of material and were polished - leveling was not necessary!
