For sale is an original 1968 "Small Box" Marshall JMP #1987 Plexi 50w amplifier finished in purple tolex with matching 1960 4x12 (T1221) speaker cab.  This is an extremely rare opportunity to own a piece of history as this amplifier & cabinet were part of the largest vintage amplifier collection owned by Aspen Pittman, the infamous founder of Groove Tubes and creator of 'The Tube Amp Book'.  See details below...
   
-Amplifier Head:  Midway through 1968 Marshall introduced the JMP #1987 50w amplifier head to replace the JTM50 and introduce the EL34 power tube.  This amp is as original as they come with (2) EL34 Ruby Tubes and (3) Tungsram Ecc83 preamp tubes.  All solder connections still have original red painted dye.
