1980 Kramer Gene Simmons "Prototype" Axe Guitar

This is the ultimate axe by Kramer made specifically for Gene Simmons of Kiss, this example is THE “Prototype” made by Steve Carr himself by hand in 1980, Gorgeous Black & Silver finish over a very lifelike Axe shaped guitar having nothing in common with the factory made production guitar model, notice the multi piece body & detailed axe blade all carved by hand, she has 1 potent chrome covered Humbucking pickup & bridge placed far lower & unlike the DiMarzio equipped production ones, also notice Gene’s signiture is nothing like on the factory signed guitars & basses, word has it that only maybe 20 – 30 guitars were ever produced since Gene didn’t play guitar, this one is basically in excellent condition & hardly used & kept in Steve Carr’s personal collection since new in 1980 thru 2004. It was also played by Gene whom was a good friend & shared in its design.
