Vintage DCM Time Frame TF-350 Standing Floor Speakers

A very rare pair DCM Time Frame Model 350 vintage speakers vintage 1988.   Note these speakers need the 6.6 surrounds replaced. Otherwise, they are very nice speakers in great condition with original sleeves intact.  They are in wonderful condition for their age!

Simply amazing highs, mids and low - especially the lows.

There is an acoustic lens in front of the tweeter to improve high-frequency smoothness on-axis and balances off-axis frequency response. They were produced as a mirrored pair (specific right and left)
All completely DCM original manufactured components with the original when they were brand new back in the 80's.
They're in very excellent shape and condition! Sound stage is fantastic!

These are large panel speakers and transmission line speakers, very rare in speaker design history, yet so superb in design cosmetics and sound!
DCM made a name for itself in audiophile circles when they introduced the amazing DCM Time Window around 1980. This speaker is a derivative of the Time Window series. The Time Frame, floor standing series featured stunning industrial design based on a transmission line (bass reflex) cabinet. Not only nice to look at, these speakers had a ear pleasing sound. Great soundstage imaging and amazing bass out of a modest woofer with rubber surround. Really a very impressive series.

These Time Frames contain fully functional, original drivers. They have solid oak panels on the top and bottom.  A short leg swings out on the base for a stable footprint.  The speakers are clean with logo badges for both, indicating right/left.   The Time Frame speakers are mirror imaged speakers. Meaning there is a left and right to them. By placing the DCM Logo to the inside edges of the pair, this accomplished the mirror image effect. Like the Time Windows they have a fabric sock covering that encircles the entire speaker, with wood trim at the top and bottom of the speaker. They weigh about 32 pounds each and measure 15 inches across the base, stand 38 inches tall and have a depth of about 6 inches. Construction is first rate, these are very sturdy speakers. The base has a fold out pedestal for additional support, a very nice touch.

DCM TF 350 have that distinctive Time Window sonic signature. DCM did not stray far from the Time Window success and enjoyed a cult like following in the 1980's. The musical presentation is near holographic. First and foremost is the much improved sound-stage. The depth is quite profound!
