If you’re looking for that 60’s jangle, you’ve come to the right place! Up for sale is a mid-1960’s Vox Phantom XII (12) made in Italy. It has a five sided body, 3 single coil pickups, pickup selector, 1 volume and 2 tone control that all work! It’s tuners have been replaced by Grovers, a nice upgrade. It has strap locks and an included strap. It has a tremolo bar, but missing the plastic end and the screw and nut to hold it in place. It probably is better off not using it anyway because a 12-string with tremolo will be difficult to stay in tune, but it’s there if you want to try. The Vox logo and “Made in Italy” decals have been removed from the headstock, and a fun penguin sticker is placed on the pick guard. The bridge cover is missing. The original case is very nice and has a “Made in Italy” tag on it. Plays very well, and is light. It’s definitely a pro instrument made by Vox to compete with Rickenbacher. Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones had one! You can too!
