About This Listing

  • Fender Custom Shop 1960's Rosewood Telecaster Guitar in near mint condition, has been played for practice in my garage. Comes with all of its original case candy and certificate of authenticity.
  • This is an exact replica of the famous Telecaster that George Harrison made famous. Guitar is made of all rosewood. Body has a thin slice of maple in between 2 rosewood slabs. Very cool. The neck is a wonder of smoth and fastness, your palm will not stick anywhere.
  • Words alone can't quite express the satisfying sweetness of the Rosewood Telecaster's sound, which blossoms with a dark, electrifying resonance that's balanced with ample high-end sparkle and overflowing with sustain.
  • In honor of George Harrison, the Fender Custom Shop 2007 recreated the famous Rosewood Telecaster prototype seen in "Let It Be" with painstakingly detailed precision. Renowned for his masterfully understated, yet always inventive and inspirational guitar playing, Harrison laid the path for subsequent would-be rock guitarists to follow.
  • The nut is 1/8" wider than most vintage Telecasters for a unique advantage while playing; the wider string spacing makes it easier to finger chords that ring out loud and clear, with plenty of crisp articulation.
  • In a subtly distinctive aesthetic touch, the early-'60s style "spaghetti" logo decal sits atop the finish, instead of the era’s typical "transition" logo underneath the finish. The decal is also placed closer to the nut than is traditional, resulting in a relocated string tree and slightly altered break angle behind the nut. The hardware is as historically accurate as possible; a vintage-style three-saddle bridge, 21 narrow jumbo frets, a Micarta nut and classic Fender "F"-stamped tuning machines are all present, just as on the original instrument.
  • the George Harrison Tribute Rosewood Telecaster a once-in-a-lifetime tribute to a truly fabulous instrument that could only come from the Dream Factory—the Fender Custom Shop.
  • Guitar weighs 4,1 Kg ~ 9 lbs.
  • 7.5" radius. "C" Shape neck. Vintage Style Frets.
  • Matte NOS finish nitro finish.
  • Custom shop 1960's telecaster pickups.
  • Custom Shop Sand-coloured Hardcase
  • This is one heck of a guitar, and in near mint condition, one small discolouring in laquer on top of headstock (pic)
