HOFNER HI-BB-SB LEFT HANDED BEATLE BASS GUITAR.. Brand New never been played Includes a GUARDIAN CG-02-VB Hard shell CaseThis violin-shaped model is commonly referred to as the "Beatle bass."
With authentic details inspired by the original, the Hofner Vintage Style Bass makes the legendary violin bass available to the rest of us.
Don't get the idea that this a just a "nowhere man" look-alike. This quality instrument features a real spruce top and beautiful flamed maple back and sides.
The semi-hollow body and set neck will give you the warm, round tone you expect from the violin bass.
The Hofner Beatle Bass includes genuine Hofner Bass staple pickups and surrounds - Has ( B-BASS HI SERIES ) on truss rod coverthis model features a maple-beech-maple set neck and the fretboard is accentuated by mother-of-pearl dot inlays, the signature Höfner violin bass headstock,
a brass trapeze tailpiece, and glossy spruce top with glossy flamed maple back and sides. An Wood bridge with movable metal saddles maintains intonation and string spacing.
The nickel-plated hardware and floating celluloid pearl pickguard give it an extra little pop for the eyes.
On the electronics side, you're working with two original Höfner humbucking pickups, as well as a control panel with 2 volume controls, 2 on/off switches, and a rhythm/solo switch for volume boost.
The overall sound is warm like the original model, but with a little more sonic kick for a more "now" sound.
