Interior of the effect is immaculate and the exterior is in very good shape compared to a few others I have seen, that is if you can find any.
The original hand screened graphics were clear coated to protect the print and therefore are vulnerable to some wear near the edges.
This one retains much of the "simulated" three tone sunburst "woodgrain" graphics that surround the sides of this pedal and the rest of the clearcoat has developed a nice patina that only enhances the "retro apocalyptic" styling of this truly unique fuzz pedal.

The Doomsday Machine experience is a story of extremes. At the bottom of the dial it delivers a bluesy, responsive crunch that faithfully accentuates your guitar's tone with both single coil and humbucking pickups. At the top end it creates an enormous fuzz that remains toneful and semi-controllable through the grinding lows, wailing highs and zinging harmonics.
The Fuzz control features a 'Boost' function at around 9 on the dial, where the gain suddenly doubles for the last little twist to 10. This feature was born out of the need for that little bit more poke where many fuzz pedals run out of steam.
The Doomsday Machine is a silicon transistor circuit, made from high quality components, hand wired and tested to ensure total reliability. The jumbo enclosures are all hand painted and printed, under a strong enamel clear coat to keep its classic good looks for years to come.
