Constructing an Efficient 500 Rack

Vintage King has been servicing audio equipment for over 20 years, and in that time, we've seen more than our fair share of 500 racks fail. While many perform with superior quality, some are unable to provide the power needed for certain modules. There are hundreds of companies now making their own 500 Series gear, each building them to their own specifications, and it's not always guaranteed that a module will work in a 500 rack... Until now.

The Right Power, The Right Rack

Built to take on nearly any mix of 500 Series units, our racks hold six standard size modules and can power through any situation. Vintage King technicians have tested the rack with endless combinations and are yet to have the system fail.

Heavy Construction for Durable Use

Constructed for durability and toughness, the Vintage King Rack 500 features heavy duty top/bottom covers and module mounting rails that are thicker than the standard available rack.

Essential Options for Connectivity

Looking for a 500 rack with a larger range of connectivity options? The Vintage King Rack 500 features both XLR and DB-25 audio connections to make your in-studio experience that much easier. The rack's rear panel features extra XLR I/O to access channels 7 and 8 with 8CH DB-25 connectors.

Powers Nearly Any 500 Series Combination

Offering up amazing power, the Vintage King Rack 500 is outfitted with heavy duty linear power supply, using a robust toroidal style transformer, with up to 180mA available per rail, per module. The chassis features extra venting for rack mounting, in addition to vents on the back of the unit to help disperse more heat.

Built For Every Studio Situation

With the options of rack ears, decorative wood cheeks and rubber feet available, the Vintage King Rack 500 is easily compatible with any studio set-up.

Developed And Built In The USA

Created inside Vintage King's tech shop and built by a Detroit manufacturer, our 500 racks are 100% built with pride in the USA.

Configurable Voltages For Outside Of USA

If you will be operating the Vintage King RACK 500 in a country where applicable, the unit has a configurable PSU that can be changed from 120V to 220/240V or 100V prior to the product being shipped to you.

The Vintage King Warranty

We strongly stand behind our Vintage King Rack 500 with a warranty that includes two years of labor/parts service, in addition to five full years of parts.
