Some of the specs are as follows, Madagascar rosewood (one of the best sets I've had, most people think it's old Brazilian, and it is most likely better than most of the Brazilian we get these days). The top is Carpathian spruce from Romania. The Carpathian spruce I select is stiff and hard and has all the characteristics of red spruce, except it breaks in much faster than red spruce. Carpathian spruce's Latin name is picea abies. That is the same species as Italian, German, and Swiss spruce. It's just called Carpathian because it grown in the Carpathian mountains. But, it seems to be harder and stiffer (like red spruce) than German. Italian, or Swiss spruce. The neck is 1 3/4" at the nut, ebony fingerboard and bridge, sunburst finish, 28 style herringbone trim, slotted diamonds and squares inlay like an old herringbone. It's very much like a traditional herringbone. It also has a "speed neck" treatment. No lacquer on the neck, just a sealer, so it feels like an old Martin with the finish worn off. I really like that.
It includes a good hardshell case....Lynn
