The guitar - This beautiful dark walnut guitar is in very good condition. The main issue are three areas of the binding that are worn (as is likely on nearly all Gretsch Country Gentlemen guitars of this time-period).  Otherwise, aside from a bit of finish crazing on the body, and an some  noise on initial installation of the cord jack (likely a loose wire), it is in most excellent condition.  No other bruises, scrapes or "buckle rash;" pad (which is original) on the back side is as new as one can get with such a vintage guitar. Back of the neck is smooth - between the frets the finish is smooth, everywhere on the body, the finish is smooth (except for the small areas of crazing.)

I have included a photo of the write-up from when I bought it for add'l details - please review for the most info on this guitar.  I am not the original owner, but the guitar shop where I bought it said everything was original; I have not done/had any modifications done to it

Since I've had the guitar, it has been in my smoke-free home, displayed vertically from the wall - and played a few times.....NEVER OUTSIDE MY HOME and ALWAYS "gently." BUT..........Please review all photos carefully to fully assess for yourself the condition of this wonderful guitar!   Just tested it, and while the pots are a bit scratchy from not being played in several years (and the jack input noise) - all things work as they should!

The Case - (original/HSC) is in really good condition for its age; it has been shrink-wrapped and stored in my home since purchase.

The Shipping - will be FREE ONLY for a buy-it-now (BIN) purchase from anyone in the continental United States. (WAIT FOR THE INVOICE TO GET FREE SHIPPING!)

I don't know what has happened to the shipping industry of late, but prices have DOUBLED to anywhere in the U*SA. So, purchases less than BIN, shipping will be $155 (depending on location) to buyers in the continental USA via USPS. Buyers in Alaska & Hawaii and all foreign lands will pay the standard going shipping rate from the continental US -- plus duty, customs, or foreign tax; contact me for an estimate.

YES, I WILL ship to "most" foreign countries (not Italy or Russia tho, sorry!), duties/taxes/or similar are also your responsibility.

Your guitar and case will be carefully packaged for safe arrival; insurance for at any level is available AT YOUR EXPENSE!

The payment - PayPal is preferred - cashier's/bank checks are fine too, no waiting time for shipping if you pay that way.
