Latin Percussion Matador Quinto, Conga, and Tumba

Latin Percussion Matador Congas 

The set includes a 11" quinto, a 11 3/4" conga and a 12 1/2" tumba. They are 30" in height, and have a gorgeous glassy whisky brown finish.

Heads
The heads are in perfect condition. One of the heads is of typical good Matador quality. The second is above average. The third is identical in quality to the hand-picked heads on my Galaxies.
They have been well-maintained with palm oil, as have the wooden rims that are in contact with the heads. I have loosened the heads between sessions.

Description
They produce a good bass on all three as well as nice tone and great slaps. The conga is prepped to accept a second mounting flange if desired so that all three can be mounted on two stands, which totally eliminates any horizontal motion and greatly reduces lateral motion. (Stands and extra flange not included.)
The drums have been kept  in a humidity-controlled studio and are totally rock-solid, they play great, look gorgeous, and are ready for years of use.

Condition
I am the second owner. The conga is in excellent condition. The quinto has a minor blemish and finish pop near the bottom that does not penetrate. The tumba has a crack at the bottom that appears to be a factory repair but is absolutely rock solid. The finish on all three is glassy and gorgeous.
I had these drums for a couple of months before I even noticed the imperfections. You really have to search to see them. As these are for local pickup, you are free to play them and check them out.

A new set costs about $1,468 with tax, so this is a great deal. The description is quite accurate. Great drums. Sorry but no returns.
