Gretsch Broadkaster Drum set/kit, Bebop! Anniversary Sparkle

Gretsch Broadkaster bop kit (18/12/14) with full vintage build-out hardware.

These drums are amazing! The Broadkaster series are 3 ply shells (maple/poplar/maple), which when combined with the reverse round over edges (more shell-to-head contact), give these drums amazing warmth and fat tone! The flanged hoops also help open up the sound and give nice clarity.

This kit is in excellent condition and looks brand new! There are only a few minor things that place it in "store demo" status: there are marks in four small areas on the top of the bass drum (from the rail consolette being lowered toward the shell and bumping the wrap) and normal minor pedal rash on the batter side hoop. The floor tom also has some very light surface scratches. I tried to show any minor flaws in the last 6 photos. The drums still have the stock heads on them, which have plenty of life.

The upgraded full vintage build-out hardware adds to an authentic look and lighter weight for travel. All the hardware functions well and the tom mufflers are very cool. If the buyer wishes, I will even include the new vintage reproduction floor tom legs shown in the photos. The kit came with similar legs, but with a wider spread on the bottom. You may choose a set or take both!
