This German-made violin sold by the US-based Rudolph Wurlitzer company ca. 1930s is in very good condition for its age since our luthier completed the following work:
- New soundpost fitted
- Fingerboard reglued
- Bridge refitted
- Overall set up & adjustment
The violin has a solid spruce top with double purfling, flamed 2-piece maple back, fine tuners, 7/8" nut, and 13" scale. There is some noticeable wear around the bridge (pictured), but that seems to be the only noticeable cosmetic blemishing on the instrument outside of wear typical of an older used instrument.
Oblong hard case is included. This violin was previously owned by a well-respected violin teacher and musician in our area.
