This Mannheim 14" Snare Drum includes original Mannheim Stand, Backpack Carry Case, and Practice Pad. Also includes a brand new pair of sticks, just because you're cool.
There is very little information on this instrument available, it was a customer trade-in from someone who had inherited it from a relative. Research online indicates that it was possibly made in the 1960's in Germany, and that it's a rather rare drum. Our in-house repair shop has inspected it and have determined that it is in excellent playable condition.
The Drum itself is in fantastic condition. There are a few marks and scratches due to use, but there is no rust, significant dents, or discoloration. The drum heads appear to be newer, they're Remo Ambassador heads with small marks (most likely from being a store display for a brief time). The snare wires look to be fairly new as well.
The Case is also in great condition, the zippers work perfectly and there are no tears or stains. Includes removable straps to convert the case into a backpack for easy transport.
The Stand is a bit more worn than the rest of the pieces, but is still in excellent working condition. There are some scuffs and scratches on the stand, and there are dents on the upper tube, but they are barely visible when the stand is fully assembled and they do not compromise the sturdiness of the stand.
The Practice Pad shows obvious signs of wear from use, but is still fully intact and works perfectly.
Please call or message if you have any questions or would like additional photos, and we will do our best to answer them with the information we have.
