About This Listing

Excellent sounding and  old French 3/4 violin unlabeled , handmade c1910-1920 in Mirecourt, most probably by one of better atelliers.

Rarely you can see such a good quality child violins, normally more than 90% 3/4 violins are mass trade products with cheap work and tone woods.

In a very good shape for it's age ,just signs of intense professional use, varnish overall very good preserved with some chips and scratches on varnish and very good repaired small area on under fingerboard, when somebody in the past removed old fingerboard (see photos). All of that does not affect any playability and affect just cosmetically. Very good and fantastic  sound and power for a 3/4 violin, good projection, we are recommending that instrument for an emerging young soloist who are deserving better instrument as usual, but still in a budget category.

Fully ready to play, setup is like new and  fully functional, new strings, no need to check by luthier and to make investments in nearest future.

Full trade-inn guarantee for that particular instrument upgrading later at our shop . When your child is ready for the full size and needs to switch from a 3/4 violin to a 4/4 size, we calculate 100% of the purchase price. This means that your initial investment remains intact, unlike standard instrument rentals.
