ROUNDNECK - A very nice, newly designed, round neck resonator guitar from Regal. Classic body shape made with mahogany top, back, sides & neck, all in a natural gloss finish. There are dual screened soundholes, a solid peghead with fancy inlay and chrome open-gear tuners with butter-bean buttons, and a dot-inlaid Santos rosewood fretboard. Fan style coverplate and tailpiece are chrome plated. Body, neck and headstock are all bound. Neck has a two-way adjustable truss rod and a ~1-11/16" nut width. The sound is generated by a USA-made spun aluminum cone with die-cast aluminum spider bridge and hard maple bridge inserts atop a "power reflex" sound chamber. This chamber is characterized by a sound baffle plate and relatively open body cavity to allow for a big full sound. Body woods are laminates. Imported from Asia.
