Description from the WEB: (Soundcloud demo of actual guitar at end of ad)
The Maton TE1 Tommy Emmanuel signature guitar is one of the true classic Dreadnought guitars. Built in close consultation with Tommy Emmanuel, one of the Worlds greatest guitarists, the TE1 is a high performing, superb sounding instrument that few can rival. The top is a specially voiced solid Spruce top that is braced for optimum tonal performance. Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides deliver a truely rich and articulate tone that references some of the worlds classic Dreadnought guitars whilst injecting its own unique voice. Finished in High Gloss to Tommy's spec, the finish allows a crystal clear top end that cuts through the upper registers adding prominent presence and treble frequencies for the ultimate articulation. Loaded with an AP5 pickup and English made Hiscox flight case. This is the Guitarists Guitar.
Details on this guitar. (SOUNDCLOUD OF ACTUAL GUITAR BELOW)
This is a well maintained Maton TE1 Tommy Emmanuel “Artist” manufactured in Sept, 2010. It is all original except the following: The original black Tusq Nut and Saddle were replaced with white Tusq Nut and a Pre-ban Ivory Saddle. The “signature” pickguard was replaced with a standard Maton pickguard with a gold “M” Maton insignia. This guitar is in excellent shape except some very fine, unphotographable finish marks from playing and two tiny finish (not wood) marks on the back (in pics) and a fine finish scratch and small ding in the wood on the front of the headstock, also can be seen in the pics. The finish is in otherwise excellent condition. I have done my best to point out minor flaws that might be present. Full disclosure.
This guitar is a very fine quality professional grade instrument and in excellent condition. It will not disappoint. On top of that the tone is pure Maton!!!!! Will it make you play like Tommy? Probably not but you will want to.
The AP5 electronic pick-up sytem is superb IMHO. The AP5 is one of the best for playing plugged in of countless guitars pickup systems I have played, including those from Fishman, LR Baggs, and the like. Check my feedback and buy with confidence. Make an offer !! These don't come up used often!!
Now there is a Soundcloud link below which includes:
Single Chord notes plucked to illustrate clarity and sustain,
Light strumming,
More robust strumming,
Fingerstyle playing,
Noodling
*(recorded using Blue “Yeti” USB microphone and Windows 10 voice recorder, not the best setup, headphones recommended) Limited by my playing skills LOL
Best with headphones or good speakers. Phone speaker won't do it credit. You may need to use a computer due to limits of mobile app.
