Effects Blocks, virtual amps and more

The unit has 11 blocks in which you can load any combination of 180 effects units, making it a very powerful budget multi-effects pedal system and one that has plenty to offer for its price point.

Yes, you also get amp simulation and there are 70 stock amps models included with the GE250, as well as 32 impulse responses to run them through. I love that you can also add third-party IRs to make it your own. Plus, you have access to Mooer’s  technology so you can create a model of your real world amps and add them to your stock virtual ones.

You can also put your effects block where you like, so either in front or inline via virtual effects loops, with your virtual amp simulations. You can even place them right at the end and effect the whole signal path.

Inputs & Outputs

The GE250 has stereo quarter-inch and stereo XLR connections as well as MIDI in and out. Plus you get a super useful  low-latency USB audio connection, this means the pedal can double as an audio interface. Which in turn means it is easy to add into your DAW setup, nice!

Plus they also managed to squeeze in a built-in tuner, 60 drum tracks, 10 metronome options and 70-second looper. Which, I think makes this whole unit a bit of. bargain at these price points.
