Long story short - REALLY nice & rare '30s Harmony Faux mandolin with great conversion potential! Has significant needs but WELL worth consideration by the motivated 'do-it-yourselfer'! The center area of the resonator did what is predictable - sank because there is no bracing there. PERFECT conversion candidate for real resonator upgrade! Finish and metal parts are super clean. Soundwell can be laminated and installed through the 9" opening created by cutting out the silver painted area - AKA -"faux resonator" and re-bracing it accordingly.
