Guild D-55 2013 Sunburst New Hartford Built Guild Acoustic D55 Very Good Condition Dreadnought

Up for sale is a beautiful Guild D55 built in New Hartford, Connecticut in very good condition. This guitar comes with the built in DTAR pick up system that has a mic and an under saddle pick up. This guild plays very easy on the fingers, and sounds great being finger picked softly. It also has great tone and power when played with an aggressive attack with a pick. This guitar is good to go with no major issues. No cracks, repaired cracks, or luthier work can be found. The only negatives to address are a few very minor cosmetic flaws. I have pointed them out in one of my pictures with two blue arrows. There are some light weather checks around the bridge. There are a few small dings in the top that are pencil tip size, and some light swirling here and there.
   The D55 is the top of the line dreadnought offered by guild. These same D55s that are being built new in Oxnard, California are going for 3,500-4,000. This is probably my favorite style on a guild. A dark, Rosewood dread with a sunburst top. These come with a AAA grade sitka spruce top with abalone rosette, and east indian rosewood back and sides. The guitar body, fretboard, and headstock come fully bound. The binding has no issues whatsoever. No cracking, splits, chips, or coming unglued can be found. The fretboard is a very dark ebony with mother of pearl blocks with abalone V inlays. The abalone V's have some great color in them on this particular guild. The neck is a three piece mahogany/walnut/mahogany with no signs of wear. The fretboard and the metal frets have no signs of wear. The pick up was tested and works properly. This is also my favorite style pick up for my personal guild collection. The case is the premium deluxe faux alligator skin case, with green velvet lining. There is a gold guild badge mounted on the outside of the case. All the latches and the handle work properly. There are a few ding spots on the lower bout of the case.
   Overall this guild is in very good condition. I would rate it excellent but for the few small dings on the guitar's top, and the minor weather checking near the bridge. This guitar is a joy to play, and has no issues to be found. This guitar is good to go right out of the box, and ready to serve it's next owner for decades to come.
