Collings OM1T SB, Baked Sitka, Mahogany, Satin Finish, Sunburst - VIDEO

(NEW) Smitten by satin?  We admit it!  Every time we think that Collings has perfected the sunburst, some new twist comes along and steals our hearts.  In this case, it's the gorgeous Style 1 sunburst with the *new* vintage satin option on this OM1T SB.  The look of the Style 1 sprayed over baked (torrefied) Sitka produces the ambertone you see before you.  It just don't get any better, does it?  

If you disagree, well, flip the page... but if you're like us, mahogany mad (certifiable) then read on!  This is, no exaggeration, one of the best sounding Collings OMs to ever grace our shop.  Being a Traditional model, it has an edge up: forward-shifted Sitka braces with no tongue brace, animal protein glue construction, a tiny maple bridge plate, a lighter overall build style and the aforementioned thin finish.  The torrefied top makes it sound played-in right from the jump, it's highly responsive, warm and LOUD.  So good!  

Truly, there's nothing not to love about this guitar, particularly if you love a mahogany OM.  Traditional specs also include 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing on the Traditional (full-ish mod V) neck carve, with rolled fingerboard edges, ebony fingerboard, Stew Mac faux-tortoise pins, and the cherry on top, relic'd Waverly tuners.  It's perfect.  

Includes TKL hard case.  Includes "only one you'll ever need" vibes.  Includes "dream guitar" bonafides.  You just supply the songs.
