Vintage Altec Lansing Model Fifteen Studio Monitor Speaker System (1974) Local Pickup Only

From the company that gave us Voice of the Theater speaker systems, these are Altec Lansing "Studio Monitor Speaker System" Model 15's in beautiful Oak. I bought these in 1974 and used them for a few years with some regularity. When we moved, they didn't fit with my wife's idea of living room or den speakers, so these remained operational, but were "hidden" under table cloths and were not used very often. I had the speakers serviced about 20 years ago (including expert reconing by an authorized Altec Lansing service center). They haven't been used very much at all since then. As you can see from the pictures, they are in excellent condition (the original foam grilles didn't last, but I see some offered on eBay). These sound great - just like the day I bought them! I hate to part with them, but after a home renovation project, the boss says we don't have room for them. Includes two riser/bases for speakers. Only the speakers and bases are for sale; no other gear pictured is for sale. Local pickup preferred; will discuss shipping for extra fee.
