BackLine Barncat

This semi-hollowbody guitar was constructed with a hollowed out solid piece of Walnut, and then drop-topped with bookmatched Douglas Fir. The top was then carved by hand to give it those nice curves. Combined with a three piece Walnut/Maple, perfectly set neck, this guitar's tonal qualities are outstanding. It has a very loud presence even when it is unplugged. Plug it in, and you'll hear smooth silky tones from the MJS Big Single Retro pickup in the neck position, and then overdrive the MJS Rotary pickup in the bridge position for punchy midrange tones that kick like a mule.
