I purchased this guitar new in 2002 and have been the only owner. I played it regularly in my first few years with it, but as I've expanded into playing primarily electronic music, I haven't used it as much. For the past 6 years it has been unplayed and so I'm looking to sell it to make way for some new electronic gear.
The guitar plays great and sounds great and has a great on-board tuner and mixer. The guitar projects well acoustically and also sounds nice plugged in. There are a couple small blemishes on the body, and some build-up on the back of the tuning pegs that may come up with cleaning, but the guitar otherwise remains in great playing condition. The case is well used as shown in the photos.
The Alvarez Artist Series AJ-60SC Natural features a maple back and sides, solid Engelmann spruce top, and a rosewood fretboard. Full binding, white pearl rosette, and nickel die-cast tuners. System 600T MK II electronics ensure plugged-in tone that's just as rich as the guitar's natural sound.
