Silvertone Model 1476 Bobcat Silverfoil DeArmonds Original Case 1966 Black

A Super Cool and very RARE 1966 Silvertone Bobcat Style Guitar with 2 Awesome Silverfoil DeArmond Pickups. Original Black that has been well rubbed out exposing some wood grain that looks really cool... with the original softshell case, it is one really great guitar....Check out the Silvertone Softshell Case..all latches, hinges, and handle are present and working....see pics ....Wow...

This guitar has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound...the DeArmond Pickups are fat and full of tone...

As you can see, this is not a closet classic Guitar.....the guitar has just a few dings and scatches as you would expect from the age of this guitar. The hand rubout did expose some wood grain...again, it looks really cool and the finish looks great now. I would imagine the previous owner had quite a time cleaning this one up...I have had to do the same hand rubbing and the edges lose finish...The pickguard has one broken tip from shrinkage...we rerouted the pickguard and filled the extra hole..see pic 2 ..

This guitar will blow you away with its Huge Tone...If you haven't experienced one of these be prepared to be blown away...These are Sleeper Guitars.....This Guitar is ready to go ....It is truly a magical guitar....It plays like a dream and it sounds even better...... I love these DeArmond Silverfoil Pickups...They are really really strong!

I had Jeff the Tech go over this one completely...he has it set up with awesome low easy playing action with great intonation up the entire 20 frets...It feels great!

All original parts to include Waverly Open Back Tuners..(with Black Tuner Buttons..you don't see many of these), Truss Rod Cover, Black Knobs,  and case..Only the missing original bridge has been replaced. I used one of our Bobcat bridges made right here in Iowa. They look just like the original and work great.

This guitar is definitely a 9.5 out of 10 on the Lawman Scale!!

The sound of these guitars are really 50's and 60's blues, jazz, country, and rock......It has a that distinctive Silvertone DeArmond raw sound ...The neck is great.......the action is low, has very super easy playing action, and the neck is very comfortable to play..You will not want to put his one down when you get it..its a blast to play...... Very Nice.....I have enjoyed playing it and know it will be a treasured guitar to who ever is lucky enough to win this auction...

It looks good, sounds good, and plays good... it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot and have not had one complaint.... It has nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 9.5 out of 10 Guitar..But it's an 11 on a cool scale!!

Now this guitar is really cool but old and a vintage instrument..it will be sold as is, but it will not disappoint the lucky bid winner..check my feedbacks ...This one will be no exception... it will be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot.....The lucky bid winner is to pay fixed shipping, packing, insurance, and delivery confimation of $48 for the lower 48...all others please ask first...
