Very cool mid 1990's Alvarez Villain AEV-425 in red metallic. Guitar is in very good condition. Could use new strings and a setup, otherwise only issues are minor cosmetic and play wear.
This guitar has the graphite modulus neck and Dan Armstrong pickups. Items are used and being sold as-is. So read description carefully, download and enlarge pictures, and ask questions now.
Front of body:10 very small pin tip/pin head sized indentation in random locations. Light pick marks between and below the pickups. A little rust on the pick up ring screws. Some fading/wear/rust on the tremolo unit (locking nuts and tremolo arm are present).
Rear of body: Pick swirl/polishing marks all over the back side and cavity covers but they are hard to see unless the guitar is under a bright light and being scrutinized. 2 small chips in the paint on the back edge of the bottom behind the oblong cavity cover. 1 chip in the paint on upper horn. 2 small chips in the paint edge of body beneath oblong cavity cover. Some small scratches behind the square cavity cover. Neck plate has some small scratches.
Edges around the body: Top edge has 3-4 very tiny dings where ones right arm would drape over the body. Back edge of body looks great. Bottom edge has 2 tiny chips in the paint and 2 tiny indentations.
Neck: back of neck looks great and feels smooth. Fret board looks good but needs to be cleaned. Minimal fret wear observed.
Headstock: Dusty and needs cleaning but no nicks. chips, or scratches.
Case is in good condition. Dingy and dusty...plenty of scrapes and dings, scratches. Inside is clean.
