Founded in Recklinghausen in the Ruhr area in 1987 by Reinhard Jedamzik (now Delano pickup systems), Clover soon stood out from the mass of German fine basses thanks to innovative designs made from graphite necks and the best electronics. Models like the Slapper or BassTard were pioneers at the time. The innovative combination of traditional tonewoods with carbon and sophisticated electronics was ahead of its time and are sought-after collector's items today!
In 2005 Jedamzik wanted to focus on its pickup systems. So Jörg Neugebauer bought the company, which had meanwhile withdrawn from production with carbon. Clover now produced basses in Munich, which were characterized by consistently well thought-out classical instruments with an excellent price / performance ratio.
2015 was a milestone in the further development of high-quality Clover basses. Petr Vykydal bought Clover and provides the breeding ground for further growth. With one of the largest workshops for exquisite instruments in Europe behind it and the world-famous Bohemian musical instrument making know-how of its company NBE, Clover (now at home between Pilsen and Prague) can draw from the almost inexhaustible reservoir of one of the world's largest warehouses for carefully selected and stored tonewoods. For the first time, capacities for quantitative growth are now available in order to serve the international demand at the highest level!

Mit einer der größten Werkstätten für exquisite Instrumente in Europa im Rücken sowie dem weltbekannten böhmischen Musikinstrumentenbau KnowHow seiner Firma NBE, kann Clover (nun zuhause zwischen Pilsen und Prag) aus dem nahezu unerschöpflichen Reservoir eines der weltweit größten Lager für sorgsam selektierte und gelagerte Tonhölzer schöpfen. Erstmals sind nun auch Kapazitäten für mengenmäßiges Wachstum gegeben, um auch die Internationale Nachfrage qualitativ auf höchstem Niveau zu bedienen!
