Sonic Evaluation Your eyes are not deceiving you: yes, this is a TV Yellow Flying V. The limited-edition finish is sweet, but the tones that emanate from this pointy beast are even sweeter. The bridge pickup makes some truly glorious noise. It has just the right amount of low-end (enough to feel satisfying when you hit the low E string, but not so much that the sound becomes flubby). The midrange is punchy and woody, and it really snarls in a cool way when you dig in. The singing highs have great note bloom and lots of overtones and character. The neck pickup is thick and rich, with beefy lows and broad, muscular midrange. The highs are meaty, and they sing out with wonderful fullness and depth. Any player that likes to rock and/or roll will love this vicious V!
