Based on the classic Colorsound fuzz box and with deep sound in mind, the Monofuzz is a one knob wonder! It's a non harsh super smooth fuzz, which is quite surprising for a high gain circuit. One of the best silicon pedals that sounds like a germanium fuzz.
The Monofuzz stacks well with other dirt boxes and blends beautifully with an overdriven amplifier. With the circuit being small, we were able to put the best vintage "mojo laden tones into it". Allen Bradley resistors, silver Mica, "NOS" axial and Phillips/Mullard tropical fish capacitors. Finally carefully selected old russian and nos globe or bc107 metal can in use on the active part of the Monofuzz.
VOL: Controls the overall output of the Monofuzz. Unity gain is at the end of the sweep. This leaves enough gain for a good boost. Lowering your guitars volume will take out some of the bottom end resembling a sweet 60's garage rock sound!
Power Requirements: 9v DC center negative PSU Soundslicefx pedals, for environmental reasons, do not use batteries and never will.
