Vintage Hondo Jackson Inspired Superstrat Shredder Electric Guitar

NOTE: Initially listed this guitar for much more with Make Offer option, but have bills to pay, so lowered it dramatically & now just a very low fixed price. Original description follows.

This listing is for one VERY cool & rarely seen vintage Hondo Superstrat (not sure of exact model per Hondo) shredder type guitar. Obviously modeled after an 80's Jackson Model 6, it definitely has that 80's Hair Metal vibe in spades!

Not sure where made, but suspect either Japan or Korea.

It is in overall excellent played condition with some fret wear, a few random little dings here & there, but really very clean for it's age. The shark fin inlays are much "pearlier" than my pics may suggest. 22 frets on a rosewood fingerboard.

Pretty much the only mentionable are as follows:

1. Had no tuners on it when I bought it, so installed a very clean set of Ibanez/Gotoh Cosmo tuners.

2. Volume control seems to be wired backwards (???) as need to turn in opposite direction to raise & lower volume. Not a big deal & sure could be easily rewired to work normally. I will do this myself if requested to do so after purchase.

3. One of the upper frets had a little nick in it that would catch that string when bending, but I very carefully put a spot of solder in the nick & then gently cleaned it up with small fret files. It's hard to tell unless you look closely & was a good fix. Still just a teensy bit rough, but should smooth out quickly with regular play.

4. Chip out of corner of plastic back plate (see pics). Very minor.

Otherwise, it is a super clean axe that sounds awesome with a great 80's crunch & Licensed Floyd is set up nicely & has low action.

No case, but I may come across something in my travels & if do, will ship with it (likely a padded, soft case) at no extra charge. If I do not find a case, please rest assured it will be securely packaged to prevent any damage in shipping.
