About This Listing

The neck is solid mahogany with the thinner neck heel and a 1-3/4” nut width. It has Kluson tuners with stamped shafts and smaller gears indicating a wartime build. The headstock has a pearl Gibson logo instead of the banner. The fretboard is Brazilian Rosewood with pearl position dots and the original frets. The frets are pretty small from being levelled in the past and have minor divots. The neck set is good.

The body is a carved Spruce top with solid maple back and sides. The factory order number is 2414 with “-29” written in red pencil. The guitar is bound in white celluloid and finished in a lovely sunburst. The bridge is still tall so plenty of material can be removed to adjust rhe action for years to come. The tailpiece has some scratch marks from what looks like sandpaper. Its only on the base however and does not affect the instrument

Ships with a non original hard shell case
