70's Univox LP "Junior" DC

This direct copy of the 60's double-cut "Les Paul Junior" made by Gibson was produced at the Matsumoku factory in Japan in the mid-1970's and distributed by Merson Music of Westbury LI. The body and set neck are mahogany (top and back two slabs) in a dark reddish/brown stain. The neck features a rosewood 22-fret fingerboard. For a guitar of its vintage the finish is in remarkable condition. It has the original "Limited Edition" badge. The back has fine scratches none penetrating the gloss finish (see image). The original tuners have been replaced with Schallers. The wraparound bridge may not be original but the P-90 style pickup appears to be and provides awesome vintage tones. This is an opportunity to have a guitar from what became known as the "lawsuit years". The hardshell case is of proper age though not showing a Univox logo and is proper fitting for the instrument. It's in fair condition showing more wear than the guitar with all hardware working.
