"The Yamaha Nippon Gakki classical guitar series, Nos. 60 were manufactured for two or three years in the 1960's. They are invariably of laminated construction for the entire body and none the worse for it. They are intelligently conceived and scrupulously produced. The sound and playability can often be outstanding. They can even compare favourably to expensive instruments by famous makers."

The Yamaha Nippon Gakki Classical guitars are unique vintage instruments. The G-60 you see here was constructed between 1967 and 1969 according to Yamaha serial number dating.

It features a laminate Spruce top with Maple back and sides. It is a comfortable guitar to hold, and the Mah neck feels great in your hand. The Bubinga fretboard and matching bridge give you a great resonance and look great against the Spruce as well.

Our Master Tech has gone over this guitar, and has replaced the strings. It has no truss rod, and therefore the action is a little higher than modern classical guitars. The bridge is lifting slightly but it does not affect the playability, and is actually a fairly common occurance known to this model guitar.

At The Music Farm, we take quality seriously! That is why we have our in-house technicians do a multi-point inspection on each product, ensuring that it'll be ready to play when it hits your hands!
