Overview
The Black Panel Fender Deluxe, produced from 1964 - 1967, is one of the most storied vintage guitar amps ever built. This non-reverb model was essentially a beefed-up Princeton with a 12" speaker hit by 20 watts of power from a pair of 6V6 tubes, and separate Normal and Vibrato inputs. The Deluxe packs a ton of clean headroom and takes well to pedals, and the vibrato circuit is actually a fair amount cleaner than the Deluxe Reverb thanks to having one less gain stage. The Deluxe Amp will cut through the mix in any recording situation and even mid-sized clubs, making it a true workhorse that continues to climb in value.
