If you're looking to get into a P-Bass style instrument for the cheap, then here's the best bang for your hard-earned dollar. The ESP is a P-Bass killer and it has a super sweet tone that belies its price.
The black pickguard is super sexy on the cream finish and while there are signs of playwear, you gotta remember that it was made in the '80s. Heck, back in 1988, I was jumping off the P.A. in Danny's Bar in Marietta, Ga with a 12 lbs Stingray over my shoulder. It didn't matter- we were all young and skinny back in those days and the world was ours for the taking.
This bass didn't have a case when I got it, so I've housed it in a very nice, padded gigbag so you'll be on the go from day one!
