This bass was made about 4 years ago when Dan Lakin (The Co Founder of "Lakland Guitars LLC") came out with his "Lakin brand"
He built a number of 4's but only a few 5's.

This is basically a 55-14 Hand Crafted in Korea Which As You Know Has Become The Leader In Asian Luthier's!!

It's a Gorgeous bass!!  The color is a Killer Emerald Green with matching headstock!!

Aguilar 3 band preamp:
Vol w/push pull for active or passive, blend, mid w/push pull for 2 different mid frequency points and stacked treble/bass

This indeed is a "Rare Bird" being there are only Two D. Lakin 5ers that I'm aware of in existence, and since they are most likely different colors, this could be a "One Of A Kind!!

Has KILLER Low action with a dazzling array of tonal capabilities, I expect this piece will go quickly because of its "uniqueness"

She has new Ernie Ball Strings strung through the body & has just been set up by my tech for nice low action!! She is READY TO GO!!
Tone is phenomenal and plays like Buttah!!
