Sansui C-2102 Stereo Preamplifier * Mint Condition *

This beautiful Sansui C-2102 preamplifier sounds big, warm and wonderful. It is prized for its amazing performance (see the specification sheet in the photos), comprehensive controls, numerous inputs and flexible routing. The dual input phono section is superb and handles MC & MM cartridges. The semi-parametric EQ provides very musical tone crafting as does the loudness and subsonic filter controls. I use them to bump up the low end up a bit while using the subsonic filter to remove low end tubbiness for killer punch. By being able to sweep with the frequency control you can quickly zero in to find the sweet spot.
As you can see in the photos it is super clean both inside and out. The faceplate is flawless and all of the lettering is crisp and clean with no sign of wear. The cabinet is as close to mint as you will ever find. It comes from a smoke-free home.
All of the RCA jacks and controls have been cleaned with Caig DeoxIT. Every internal relay contact has been burnished properly and they all work flawlessly. The controls are totally noise & static free.
This preamp has served me well for many years and has always worked perfectly. I am only selling it because I have another one and am downsizing my second sound room. You won't find another one in this condition anywhere and will love the way it performs!
