A hand injury has brought my playing days to a close. I’d like to see my bespoke bass in the hands of someone who can keep it singing, rather than sitting in the case.

Custom-built to my high personal standards and specifications at the San Diego factory. Since I was a student of Bunny Brunel I was able to check the quality of the build at every stage of production.
The body and headstock are Flamed Koa laminated over an unblemished, tight-grained piece Alder chosen for it’s relatively light weight, excellent resonance, and upper-midrange definition.
The body-through, asymmetrical neck (thinner on the treble side allowing for easier reach to the low-end strings) is embellished with two strips of Hard-Rock Maple for crispness sandwiching between a strip of Walnut for a touch of warmth.
The flawless 34" scale Ebony fingerboard has 24 medium-jumbo Nickel frets. The neck is 2.02" wide @ nut, 3.2" wide @ 24th fret and has two high-strength carbon-fiber reinforcing rods, and a fully-adjustable dual-action truss rod. For quicker reference and better aesthetics, I had small white dot fret markers located on the top border of the board instead of on the board for a cleaner appearance, and quicker, easier reference.
Mar-resistant clear finish everywhere except the back of the neck which I had left natural for a more comfortable feel, and faster, smoother movement up, and down the neck.
